Exclusive Download: The Lost Tapes, a Jukebox for cassettes, music for a Gallery in Space.

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to share this with you. This is the bonus tape that you could select to listen to in the Space Cadet Gallery around the time of the release of the Space Cadet book/soundtrack. It was first debuted at MASS MOCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) where we did our first workshops of the Space Cadet Headphone Concerts.

This cassette jukebox was part of an audio/visual interactive installation that was part of our Space Cadet Headphone Concert. Before the show would begin, the audience was invited to explore the different installations in the gallery (usually set up in the foyer of the theatre or in an adjacent room). There, they could view original artwork from the book, see concept art sculptures of characters and objects from the book, and they could also take their space photos to be included in a video game during the show if they wanted. We also set up a mini "extra-terrestrial" music studio equipped with sequencers, vocoders, and space echo machines so people could have fun making their own space noises. This jukebox would usually live in one corner of the gallery and would provide some of the background music in the gallery. Click on the link above to listen!

P.P.S. Each of your scratch board thank you notes are finished! They're currently sitting in my workshop at the moment. Things are hectic right now with shipping so I've decided to wait before I send them out! As an example, I had sent a package to a friend in the UK a week before lockdown, and he still hasn't received it now 2 months later.
