My most played records from High School!

Hello Everybody!

Just thought I'd share an pic of me and some of the most influential records for me from my high school years. I can honestly say that if it weren't for these albums, I probably wouldn't have started to pursue a career in music and art. I had to take this photo for an upcoming magazine feature about my fav vinyl records!

Pictured here from L-R:

Beastie Boys - Check Your Head

Public Enemy - It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold us Back

Coldcut - White Label - but from the era of their What's That Noise? album

De La Soul - 3 Feet High and Rising

Money Mark - Mark's Keyboard Repair

All revolutionary records in their own way in my humble opinion. Each album altered my perception of what was possible on an "album" and continue to reveal layers even after listening to them for decades! Highly recommended!

PS: De La Soul's first 6 albums are available as of today on all DSPs. Plus they have wonderful new anniversary vinyl reissues and other amazing things at their site wearedelasoul.com . They are timelessly original artists. Go check them out!

Have fun!

E
