letters, fonts, imaginary store fronts!

Been the studio today working on a bunch of hand lettered signs! For context, here is a page from the original Space Cadet book with some of the store fronts on a downtown street. These were done on scratchboard and inspired by various streets in Montreal... Namely, St. Laurent, Mont-Royal and St. Catharines St.
Tonight I've been drawing on the tablet and working on some lettering for the 3D store fronts. There will be a hardware store! And a pizza place!
and an old-timey watch/clock repair shop. I'm trying the Storyville Mosquito-style font on this one....
Can't wait to see it all put together in the 3D world!
