EPs, Cardboard Cars, Dancing Creatures

Behold the first creature for the XR video! A fake plant-based dancing creature. And if you look carefully on the top left shelf, you'll see the wig and glasses that Amantha aka Adira Amram wears in the 8pus mockumentary!
Anyhow, just a quick update on what's been cookin' over here. I'm happy to announce that the first Creatures EPs have been sent off to the manufacturer! Hooray! They were unable to give us a definite turnaround time as apparently they're swamped with production orders at the moment but whatever, I'm just glad it's all sent off and I'll patiently await the arrival of the test pressings.
Secondly, We've been working on building props and costumes for the Creatures XR stage video. They've booked the video shoot date for beginning of August. So we're pretty much putting this on the front burner now.
The articulated dancing lobster suit was turning out to be too complex to build in time, So we are pivoting to create a cast of 3 creatures like the one pictured above. Corinne says they look more like the creature album cover paintings anyway. The one above is made of fake plants. There will be 2 others. I'm going to customize the claws on all of them but they will have the same basic vibe and eyes.
Here's the front of the car... going to add a few more minor details such as side and rear view mirrors but you get the idea.
Here we are checking different camera angles on the cardboard car. LOL
Anyhow, that's it for now. This week I'm be doing some animation tests that will be projected on the XR stage/screens. I'll have some updates on those soon!

The XR crew are going to make it look like the car is driving through some impossible highways and tracks. I just gotta lean into the turns. Can't wait to see it all put together!

I cant not see his influence in his work? Also, dat car hahaha. The pics of you in it made me laugh SO hard. Like that you worked out that the steering wheel should be a record. What about the wheels? Going all Flintstones on us? More like Jetsons.... stay up!
