Just a quick update! We have been working on finalizing the game pieces for the Creatures board game. We wanted these pieces to be included on cardboard inserts and have been trying to create a design that will not require any glue or tape to assemble. That's been the trickiest part! We've made these mock ups in different paper weights to see if they'll work with a fold/tab configuration that Corinne has designed.
At first we thought each players' game piece could be creature themselves (see the back row of the game pieces with the eyeballs drawn on them). But since then we've decided to switch the game pieces to be an electric touring van since that would fit the theme of little Creature bands hitting the road and travelling around playing music for the people!
You can see the the evolution of the van pieces here. Version 1 (on the left) was inspired by the Econoline vans that Bullfrog used to rent to do our tours. But we've since opted for a boxier ice cream truck design as it will fit on the game board better. FYI The prototypes pictured here are just scrap-ily made on typing paper but the final game pieces will be printed on sturdier card or bristol board.
Anyhow, having fun doing these finishing touches on the game design. Can't wait to see this all assembled and played by actual humans!

Happy you are hitting the ROAD! Finally! Hopefully tires are warmed up. Hit that ,ish, running! I can hear the Rocky theme song being played for all the tours launching. Its ... off to normal! The prototypes, are sometimes the best, can see the thot put into them. I like how you claim there is no value. <3
