Hey Everyone!

Rad news! I got to record with one of my favorite emcees on the planet this past weekend.

My friend MaryAnn aka Ladybug Mecca from Digable Planets came to hang in the studio in Montreal. Whaaat?!!

There were a couple of music cues in the forthcoming Space Cadet film that I thought she would sound absolutely amazing on.

A whole version of the song will be available on the soundtrack someday but in the film the cue is quite short (maybe just over a minute?) It’s a point in the film that is very high energy and I thought it would sound rad with her voice scratched into the track saying some super tough lines to add that amazing GO energy in her badass style.

Apparently this is the fastest tempo she’s ever been asked to write to and let me tell you, she slayyyyyed it (as always).

Can’t wait for you to hear it when it’s all complete!
