[Video] We 3D printed a flaming sword in PLA!
Added 2025-02-08 14:48:09 +0000 UTCWe've been hard at work in the background working on this flaming sword video for a month now, it's been a great way to experiment with integrating flames into our 3d designs!
I posed this video as a bit of a design challenge for us.
I wanted the sword to:
- Be made out of PLA
- Have the fuel be completely self-contained in the hilt
- Burn for at least 10 seconds
- Have the flames reach at least 4 inches
Design Engineer Ron really outdid himself with this build, I'd definitely recommend a watch!
