[New Files!] Titus Figurines and Bust have been added to the March Specialist rewards!

Got another 40k release for you guys this month, it's the last from the "In-Progress" projects so it's all brand new things from hereon out!

It includes 3 different 1:6 scale poses and bust, a Titus head variant is included for everything as well if you're looking for a painting challenge! Each pose includes the usual assembled versions with and without the platform. The body is split up and keyed as well for easy printing and assembly. Even at 1:6 scale it's a massive statue so don't expect me to make a life sized version πŸ˜‚

The chapter banner pole uses a 2mm diameter metal rod down the center for a little extra durability.

Hope you all enjoy! I've got something very special planned for you all tomorrow so be sure an keep an eye out!

What colors have yall used for the loin cloth and pouches?

Loki Wolfwood

Hey dude I think I understood your question. I did mine with .4 noz. and .16 layerlines. It looks very good IMO. I sanded 150 180 220 raw before Filler primer and have to wet sand 400 this week before I hit it with the McCragge Blue. I did have some issues printing the Backpack though so it might need special attention.

Has anyone printed any of these with the standard 0.4mm and .16 profile? At the standard size which frankly is pretty big I’m wondering if the level of detail is where it needs to be to make this worth it. I have a 0.2 nozzle but have had very mixed results with it.

Lach

If your printing smaller scale you could use 0.2 and .08 for finer details but it will only go so far but its still really good! It will take double the amount compres to the 0.4 nozel. I like using 0.4 nozel and scaling up and use ironing to help hide those layer lines

Bryan Marquez

Which nozzle size do you recommend? 0.2 or 0.4 ?

Hauke

No worries!

My apologies. It looks like I thought the worst with the file sizes and extreme detail for such small Models. I should've looked closer before I said such a thing.

From scratch brotherrrrr

Aaron Hughes

Especially since they're just straight Ripped from the Game Assets and not ANY sort of Sculpted interpretations. Pretty wacky move

Q

Great! I don’t see it but I’ll look again! Thanks

dzais

Awesome! Small thing, is it possible to realese a bust without the chest aquilla? would love to paint up one in my chapter colors :D

Eizpen G.

Yes!

Aaron Hughes

Genuinely better than whatever they were playing at with the official titus model.

Theo Williams

The helmets were one thing... buuut this might just get a real copyright claim lol

Frankietee

these are awesome! is that pedestal shown with the bust picture in there as well?

dzais

Download now before it is nuked from orbit.

Great release, but I would be wary. Helmets are one thing since they’re for cosplay and such, but figurines are something Games Workshop is really, really fixated on. So you guys are treading on thin ice here. I hope it won’t come to the worst, but I’ve seen my fair share of figurine makers having to remove their Warhammer figures. Regardless, really nice release, can't wait to print it :)

Oh man I know what my next month long labor of love is going to be now. 1/6th scale is absolutely glorious for showmanship
