Added 2025-08-22 14:37:28 +0000 UTCThe grand finale of Gear Week is here! We've spent months modeling, refining, and testing this new motorized Lancer model, and I'm so glad to finally share it with you all!
This model actually features 2 versions: Motorized and Static. Motorized uses a cheap drill core to spin the chainsaw blades, while static is a non-moving simple alternative.
If you want to see us cram an ACTUAL chainsaw in this model - be sure to check out the video releasing tomorrow! (No we can't release those files or show you how to do it, my lawyer would strangle me)
The Functional Lancer files include:
- Schematics to build a Lancer with spinning chain on button press
- Fusion 360 Project Files
- Tutorial and Parts List PDF
- Bambu Studio Project Files and GCODE
- Model assembly video
- 193 pre-separated parts (most being the chainsaw teeth)
- Non-3d printed part models for visualization
The Static Lancer includes:
- Schematics to build a Lancer with no moving parts
- Fusion 360 Project Files
- Bambu Studio Project Files and GCODE
- 59 pre-separated parts

I started printing the static version since it's more accurate, but after printing the chainsaw plate I noticed the front "guard" thingy can't attach to the blade. Is there some kind of trick to do it or it should be cut somewhere? I see there is a pin to attach it, but it can't fit on the blade as it is. Also it would be awesome if there is a way to make an assembly .pdf like in the motorized version 😊
