Day 2 of pixie releases! Ive already seen some awesome Bat pixie makes!!
Skelly Pixie includes a keychain version, as well as a prepainted 3MF. I don't recommend going below 80%. The larger one in the pictures is 150%
I printed some of the above models using Archimedean chords in bambu slicer as my top surface pattern and I found it to be a nice finish!
Please make sure that when you are editing the 3MF that you are NOT painting the arms, teeth or the face (except for the eye circles those are okay to paint) with the paint tool. They are split to objects and painting them will create uneven paint lines. Instead please assign color to them from object list located in the left side panel.
The little teeth are separate objects in the 3MF version which means that they can be deleted completely, or you can keep just one!
Also if you are using bambu studio please make sure you are double checking your profiles as the 3MF will load a default A1 mini plate and settings.
I recommend using a brim due to the small adhesion area of the arms, I use a brim gap of 0.5 mm to make sure the brim peels smoothly.
Filaments used:
Black and white Skelly: Hatchbox sparkling black, Polyterra Cotton white, Spectrum Fluorescent yellow (eyes)
Teal and green Skelly: Polyterra mint, Hatchbox sparkling blue, Cookiecad pixie dust (eyes)
grey blue single color skellies: Ziro Matte gradient twilight
colorful single color skelly: Ziro eryone macaron
As with all of my designs, I strongly advise that the printed models are not to be handled by children under 3 without proper supervision.
