Chick flexi:
🐤 Tested down to 60%
🐤 3 walls, 15% gyroid or 3D honeycomb infill, no supports
🐤 avoid using the slicer's fill tool when coloring the 3MF files, because they are split to parts. Instead, assign color to them from the object list to make the edges look cleaner.
Carrot Egg:
🥕 100% carrot egg will fit two 100% chicks
🥕 2 walls, 15% gyroid or 3D honeycomb infill. No supports. Use Arachne wall generator.

🥕 One leaf is shorter than the other, if the leaf fits loosely in the slot, try the other slot.
🥕 You can use the tolerance test file to check your egg closure tolerances. If the test is loose decrease the top of the egg scale by 1-2%. If test is tight increase scale by 1-2%. Tolerances will vary between different printers and filament brands.
🥕 Don't place unwrapped candy in the carrot egg, candy in the pictures is prop only.
⭐As with all of my designs, I strongly advise that the printed models are not to be handled by children under 3 without proper supervision⭐

Blue chick: Ziro matte pastel Blue, Cookiecad star dust glitter, Polymaker PLA PRO orange, Polylite white
Orange gradient chick: Ziro matte gradient Sunlit petal, iSANMATE Matte red-orange, Cookiecad star dust glitter, Polylite white

2025-04-04 21:34:56 +0000 UTCI love the idea of these carrot eggs. They are adorable. I do have 2 points that I feel could be improved. When the egg is screwed closed the seems don't line up. Which is not a really big deal. Second, the method used, or maybe the tolerances involved in the method, leave it rather loose. It doesn't want to stay screwed closed.
