Roman Dice Tower

Salvete dear Patreons,

We are very busy with preparations for our next video. Floris is very busy with writing our new script and Marc is busy editing our latest footage.

Alain is working on a new project for our new video. A replica of a Roman dice tower. The dice tower was discovered near Vettweiss-Froitzheim, Germany.  The tower dates to the fourth century AD.

The front face of the tower bears the words:

- PICTOS VICTOS

- HOSTIS DELETA

- LVDITE SECVRI

Which can be translated as:

- With the Picts defeated

- The enemy has been destroyed

- So play in safety

The original is made from brass, I'll make mine out of wood. The original has also small bells attached to make the dice ring. Let me know what you think of this project?
