2025-08-26 01:48:02 +0000 UTCThe coronation is an important religious ceremony and perhaps the biggest symbol of legitimacy; however, there have been times IRL when a monarch ruled without one, usually due to some rift between them and the clergy. Whether or not people accept the King as legitimate is all about politics. Yes, Robert's letter was supposed to be incontrovertible law, but if the new regime ignores it an no one else enforces it...welp, lol
