2025-11-30 22:47:57 +0000 UTCAnother point of view could be that the first book had to necessarily be all over the place because so much happened, and at the heart of it was someone being born from an entirely different universe as an adult is an absolutely crazy situation and he had so much to learn, and although Morpheus has pulled his bacon from the fire several times, he is literally pitted a favored person from the god of lust, and an enemy of the god of fate, and no mortal being could ever survive that without some help, but while using that help is great, it will literally kill him if he over uses it. So heโs always seeking to be strong enough on his own, but there are times that is impossible.
