Getting Better All the Time
Added 2019-05-13 17:38:36 +0000 UTCWe've been making some updates to the Cardboard Edison website, and we're very excited to tell you about them in case you haven't checked them out yet. Be sure to read to the end, because there's a sneak peek of some big upcoming news there...
Omnibus. Our weekly newsletter got a major overhaul and now features subscriber-only original articles, an expanded section of links, a fancier design, and recurring features! Our goal is to make Omnibus, which is only available to our $5-and-up patrons, a must-read for any board game designer.
Contests page. Thanks to a suggestion from some Twitter friends, we created a dedicated page for our list of board game design contests! The new page features a sortable table with additional information about all of the active contests we're tracking.
Playtest groups page. Our list of playtest groups now features nifty map-based navigation, in addition to the table of groups. It's also mobile-friendly, and it's been expanded with a bunch of new groups that weren't on the list before.
And now for the really exciting news...
The Compendium. Over the past few months, we've been working on a major upgrade to our Compendium directory of board game publishers, and we're pretty confident that you'll be pleased with the results! The new directory will be mobile-friendly and nicer to look at, and feature several improved sorting tools to help you find just the publisher you're looking for. Watch for an official announcement in the next few days!
