Six years ago, I sent an email to Jeffrey about an idea I had for a LA detective show. That show is now in its second season, with a third season coming in 2025. This show is, I genuinely believe, the best thing Jeffrey and I have ever written, and I've come to love Molly and Lou, and have loved spending the last few years with them. Sometimes it takes too much energy to read a book and there is nothing worthwhile on television. Unlicensed, Night Vale, among others is a great alternative and infinitely better than what is on the television. I am resubscribing to Audible to hear the rest of Unlicensed. Excellent plots.

I love the underlying themes and darker reality of layers that underpin each character even within the essence imbued in the geography, and part of the backdrop and the forefront as PIs, searching out the so-called‘marionette pullers’ of the LA world amongst very non-champagne issues, perhaps. All Hail, S3 of Unlicensed!

2024-11-10 01:57:45 +0000 UTCI waited up for the release, and I’m already on Episode 9. So glad to hear there will be a third season, too! I first saw Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle on the TV show Castle, and that character was the same age I was, so hearing her in Night Vale and now also in Unlicensed feels like hearing from an old friend. As long as you want to continue the story, I’ll keep listening. :)
