Totally agree with your comment about how much the distance of the supporters from the pitch matters for the atmosphere.
The Detroit City supporters really take advantage of that at Keyworth Stadium. They have a unique stadium/story that you should check out.
This video is a bit outdated since it was created when they were a 4th division side, but it gives a decent overview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYGQjJFg76U

The next step for the USL is getting every team their own stadium. Indy Eleven has plans for a huge new stadium & development area, New Mexico & Memphis i believe are all working to get out of those horrible baseball stadiums as well.

Louisville's stadium is the crown jewel of USL for sure. Although Highmark is better just for the beautiful view of Pittsburgh, am bias though. Sounds like they'll be expanding the stadium as we've been constantly selling out games. Only about 5 or 6 games left in the regular season hoping Pittsburgh wins the Supporters Shield and clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

I remember when you reacted to a Birmingham Legion home game and commented that the crowd looked a bit small. Now that you understand the size of our stadium, even a decent size crowd for a second division game, like 9000, is going to look small in that venue. we sell more tickets than essentially everybody else in the league but on television we look like we are the poorest attending team because our stadium can hold over 47,000. The stadium is shared with the UAB Blazers college football team. Minor league, professional, American football teams, Spring leagues as they are known, also have a team here. The Birmingham stallions of the USFL also plays here in the spring.
Ironically, New Mexico, Elpaso, Indianapolis, Birmingham, and Oakland are typically near the top of the league in terms of atmosphere. The track or playing in baseball/football stadiums does not really hinder much. Louisville, Pittsburgh, and Sacramento Still undoubtedly have the best atmosphere. Very very very few people question that.
Since we are on the topic of stadiums, itโs a bit of a longer video, but about 13 days ago, give or take a day, TFC stadiums, the people who published the video you just reacted to here, released a video for NCAA football stadiums 2023. These are all 130+ college football stadiums. It spends a little over 10 seconds on each stadium. I would love to see you react to some of the college football stadiums as I know you reacted to a little bit of college football atmospheres on your main channel a few months ago.
