Like the movie, I wondered why this podcast needed to be two hours. Like the movie, it was all worthwhile.

Just started listening now. After Blade came the first X-Men movie in 2000, then the first Spider-Man in 2002. But yes, Blade was the movie that took everyone by surprise and gave Marvel its legs in the film space. Also, Nick Fury in the comics started looking like Sam Jackson (in the Ultimate universe) well before Sam Jackson played him in a movie.
