Schedule for the Week of 03/04/2024

The first of the month means a lot of things, but since the start of 2024 it has meant trying to stick to my monthly “chores” schedule. For me that means things like: Sharpening kitchen knives, mopping the floors, changing the filters on the fish tank, deep cleaning the bathrooms…etc. My wife has such fun items as cleaning the stove top and drip trays, washing the dog’s blankets, and cleaning the gasket in the laundry machine. She’s much better at hitting everything than I am. Where, you may ask, are the fine children? They mostly get tidying duties, also known as “Put all your stuff back in your room”, though that’s also on the “Weekly Chores” list. Our hope is, by being on a better schedule, that none of those things becomes horrendous due to negligence. I know for some folks keeping things clean and tidy is just how life goes, that’s not the case for our family. We’ve got Helldivers 2 to play, come on.

Speaking of games, this week Alex and I are headed into the Phantom Liberty portion of Cyberpunk 2077! We just got to the beginning of it last week, so I’m extremely curious to see where things go on Monday. On Thursday I’m headed back to Heart of Darkness, but this time I’m bringing Brad with me so we can also check out some other PlayStation titles! On Friday I really want to pop back into Helldivers and try for those higher difficulties, but we’ll keep things open for now and see… As for the podcasts we’ve got The Rocketeer starting our 90’s hero month on the Watchcast. We’ll also have a Never Been a Better Podcast with Austin Walker and Jeff Bakalar joining us. Of course, we’ll have the main Podcast and Ramblecast as well!
