When I was just out of college I worked at a job center for like the community college wing there, and everyone that came through there, back in 2014, only used email through their phone. It was usually set up for them by their kids. Both the younger and older generations there are huge swaths that are phone only in interacting with the internet. There's just a stripe in between that loves an actual computer outside of a workplace.

I watched it with some friends (actually after watching The Wizard and Repo Man with them for the Watchcast) and I think our consensus was it was fine, but SOOO stupid that it was a lot of fun. The whole premise is so corny and fun. The constant refrain of "I must protect the Hive" is just hilarious. It ISN'T a John Wick quality movie, but it's kind of a blast to watch it try because it plays such a dumb premise so straight-faced.

I'd like to add Jim Browning's channel to that recommendation. He himself got scammed, in spite of all of his knowledge and experience, and I think there are important lessons to take away from that.

If you want to see how modern scamming is being conducted I can't recommend the Youtube channel "Kitboga" enough. It's fairly entertaining but really it's just fascinating seeing all the various processes and how they work.

If I remember the episode correctly, they added a perception factor, i.e., they asked participants how they felt afterward. Though the free-for-all was the fastest, it stressed people out the most. I believe the highly-ordered seating pattern received the most positive feedback, even though it took a bit longer.

What’s hilarious is Southwest is getting rid of unassigned seating.

Such a good plane movie.

Thom Konan

Agreed. Watching it and seeing it as "Jason Statham wants to be John Wick" I'm baffled that its got a 70% on RT.

Your feelings on Beekeeper and its being one of Dan Ryckert's favorite movies this year are hilarious, as they are in line with mine. It is the dumbest, try-hard, cool dude action bro movie I have seen in a while. Obviously why Dan loves it.

Jason Suetter

Mythbusters had an episode about boarding. If I remember, the headache of getting people to line up from window to aisle, back to front negated any efficiency. I believe Southwest's unassigned seats, board in any order was the fastest.
