I was wondering why the image for this week was a promo for When Evil Lurks. Happy Brad saw it. VHS 2 has one of my favorite anthology segments of all time, Safe Haven, in it.

2024-09-27 03:56:43 +0000 UTCI feel bad for Vinny having to watch When Evil Lurks lol. It's super well but done, but it's brutal. Body horror (which I'm not a fan of), child violence (also a dad, ours is a toddler) and just relentless. But it's one of the better horror movies I've watched in the last few years. Also Terrified by Demian Rugna (same writer/director) is very, very good and worth the watch. I think I found it a bit creepier overall and a perfect October film, whereas When Evil Lurks is scary/brutal.
