Schedule for the Week of 01/20/2025
Added 2025-01-21 19:03:35 +0000 UTCIt’s snowy and cold again here in old New Jersey with temperatures down in the teens. It’s also time for us to start preparing our taxes and that’s mostly how I spent my Monday, trying to make the numbers all make sense. Normally, I actually like organizing and tidying up our books but sometimes the stuff doesn’t line up and then it drives me up a wall. At that point I have to email someone, and then I have to wait, and it’s like this suspended note just hanging over everything while I stand by for an answer. Why does 2+2=3.9999998?! Maddening. My first, and usually correct, reaction is that I messed up but occasionally someone else has goofed and that rattles my entire world view because I just assume everyone is smarter than I am. If this could be wrong then maybe everything could be wrong! It’s all lies built upon lies and somehow we all agree it’s fine. Open your eyes sheeple! Yes, it’s definitely tax time.
This week our schedule will be a bit funky as we squeeze some recordings, editing, and even some game appointments in around the edges. Brad will be streaming on Thursday and we’ll be back with everyone on Friday. On the Watchcast, we’ve got Spielberg’s A.I. to talk through. I really enjoyed coming back to this one to evaluate again since I saw it when it first came out. It’s a very interesting episode. We’ve also got the Ramblecast and Podcast, as usual, and I’m working my way through a new Never Been a Better Podcast edit to get up towards the end of the week.
