Same as Sam before her, Barbara was sat at the sixth tile of the board, a red one. The same temptation stared up at her in the form of a golden die. She hadn't seen Sam move it at any point, nor had any other player actively readjusted the die to its usual resting spot. Still, there it was. Sitting patiently next to the tile it appeared to belong to. Now it was her turn, her turn to decide whether the risk of more changes was worth the few extra spots on the board. The old Barbara might have opted to ignore the die. After all, none of the others, or even Sam himself had registered that it'd altered him in any significant way. Either it was extremely minimal, or it had the power to rewrite reality itself. An otherwise insane feat that seemed almost mundane in light of all that had already happened.
The usually so reasonable woman wouldn't so easily lean into the risk of unknown changes. Yet, here she was. staring intently at the golden die, as if it was something she was genuinely considering. Not due to sheer desperation of getting the game over with quickly, but because it would be exciting.

She knew that the game had done something to her outlook on life. She knew her interests an compulsions were influenced by this change, yet it remained difficult to ignore those new urges. It was like they'd been there forever. Like getting a nicotine addiction without ever having come into contact with the substance in the first place. She felt compelled to "live more in the moment". To take a chance on the golden die, and to feel the thrill of jumping into something unknown. Normally, these traits would make for an interesting and optimistic life. But this game might as well have been life or death, and in those types of situations, its better to stay level headed and reasonable, than impulsive and optimistic. Still, those latter emotions were overpowering. It was a losing battle, only a matter of seconds before Barbara caved in to her new impulses. With a shaky hand, she reached out for the golden die as well as the usual one. Her hand wasn't shaky because she was nervous, in fact, she was quite calm, excited even. It was f the internal struggle taking place deep inside her consciousness that was leaking out into her motions, making her seem slightly troubled about her decision.

None of the other players seemed at all troubled by Barbara's choice. If anything, they welcomed the opportunity to witness the golden die in action once more. Perhaps it would provide more insight into the workings of the dice and game itself.

With excitement that seemed out of place, considering the circumstances, Barbara threw the two fated dice and stared them down as they each tumbled down the table. As expected, the usual die came to a halt first, showing a respectable 4. The golden die did the same dance around the table as it had done for Sam. After an excruciating 15 seconds, it finally came to rest right beside the original die. A three. Had it been a normal die, it'd be a bad roll, but seeing that it only went as high as 3, it was actually as good as it gets.

"Yay! Seven. Not too bad!"

The cheery nature of Barbara was becoming increasingly annoying to her sisters. While she was only a year younger than Sabrina, if even that, it felt like a lot more. Her cheery nature and carelessness made Sabrina look like a grumpy mom in comparison. Speaking of mom, too bad she was busy on another of her trips, Barbara would've loved to have her there, even if it wasn't her own birthday they were celebrating.

"Jesus fucking Christ, lower your voice a little, yea? You're not a kid anymore."

Katt was right, somewhat. Barbara knew it too, she just couldn't help it. She'd always been the bouncy, energetic little sister, pulling a card that made her enjoy life to the fullest, making her borderline carefree made it difficult to suppress positive emotions or impulses. She was sure both her sisters realized, they just liked to poke fun at her, especially Katt. The older of the bunch had acted as their ad hoc mother because their real one was away so much. The responsibility of the role had forced her to grow up much sooner than the other two, and made her hate responsibility in general. It was a shame, really. Especially considering that the game had been intelligent enough to play further on these innate characteristics and pushed her in the direction of apathy. With each round, it appeared as though they were all being pushed further and further into various archetypes, some of which remained unclear. Barbara felt as though she'd been the lucky one. Lucky number three, always the sister with the good fortune. Either way, it was too soon to celebrate good fortune yet, she still had a card to draw, not to mention the golden die which had yet to affect her in any way. Or had it already done something? Barbara looked herself over once and twice. There were no immediate changes she could see, perhaps it'd changed something inside her? That would definitely be harder to pinpoint. Still, she felt a lingering feeling that something was not quite right. But she couldn't quite put her finger on exactly what that was. Either way, she didn't care too much. If she couldn't even notice, it probably wasn't all that important...

"So green, huh? That should be a body card, right? I can't wait! The first one was very nice to me. Wait ..was it? I can't remember what it was, any of you do?"

Barbara looked a little panic for a second, before settling back into her carefree groove. But she was on to something. She had drawn a green card at some point, and her body had been affected. Still, she couldn't remember what that would be. Odd.

"I don't remember either, what the hell? I feel like it was, like, a big deal too! "

Sabrina looked at her younger sister with a troubled expression. There wasn't even a year between them, just a measly 9 months. Had things been shifted a couple of months, they may even have been in the same class. Thankfully that wasn't the case. God knows Sabrina would've handled it poorly if her beautiful, cheerful and energetic sister was in the same class. She'd probably grow a little bitter, knowing that her sisters company was preferred to her own. Barbara was after all, very popular among her peers. As they grew older, the age gap between them meant less and less. Fortunately, Sabrina had already managed to leave her mark on the social scene, asserting her place as the "main" sister.

Still a little upset that she couldn't for the life of her remember the first card she drew, Barbara powered on and picked up another green one, eager to see what it might bring to the table.

Always in the shadow of your sister.
Being seen as nothing more than a blister.
If you so dare, pull that damn trigger.
Time for you to become the one who's bigger.

Do you continue or chicken out?

Whatever could the card mean by this? Sure, Barbara knew all too well what it meant about living in her sister's shadow. Sabrina had made damn sure that Barbara would never become more popular than herself. That's probably what it meant by blister too. That annoying existence that Barbara represented. A constant irritation on Sabrina's mind. A reminder that if she ever let her guard down, there'd be someone right there to challenge her spot for popularity.
Then there was the word trigger. Perhaps it referred to the action of continuing, and then becoming bigger? The bigger sister perhaps? Would it age her? That's no bueno! Barbara loved her youthful body. If she got any older, it'd severely mismatch her personality and she'd become one of "those girls". Perhaps it means bigger in some other way? The options were practically limitless considering the vast power this game harbored. The wording though, it doesn't portray any of this as something that could be negative. A payoff after taking a risk, surely it wouldn't just make her old(er)??

Despite her looks, and the way Barbara carried herself, she was actually quite intelligent. Her insight and ability to understand was impressive indeed. Sometimes she felt like an old soul, trapped in a young body. Then she reminded herself just how absurd that was. She was definitely a young soul. Energetic, kind and full of sunshine and rainbows. Always so carefree, especially now. Speaking of carefree, did it even matter if she aged a few years? At least she could stick it to Sabrina, she might even challenge Katt for the throne of oldest sibling. Who knows? It might not be so bad after all..

"I continue!!"

"..Again with the shouting! Calm down ..seriously, I'm gonna get a headache."

Barbara pouted, staring directly at Katt.

"Buzzkill."

"Bite me."

Barbara was lining up another comeback, but was quickly distracted by the sudden pressure around her chest.

"I think it's starting!"

Sure enough, there was some movement in her general chest area. Her cute mounds of flesh expanded outwards, pushing cup-size after cup-size before eventually settling on a ridiculous G-cup.

"Holy shit!"

The guys present seemed to enjoy that very much. Even Harry who had kept mostly to himself since his recent mental change appeared to join in on the admiration of Barbara's new rack.

Everyone seemed to be in awe at Barbara's new assets, apart from Sabrina, who just got one, no, TWO new reasons to be weary of being dethroned by her sister. What an annoying game..
