Korey sighs and lays down on the sofa, tossing his phone onto the table.
Tom is standing over him on the other side, glancing at his own phone. Payment indeed went through according to an email he just got.
However, Tom does feel somewhat glum as he leaves. That cost quite a bit of money to do so, zapping most of his PayPad account.
Everything felt like it needed so much money to pay these days for him, even with a roommate helping to keep costs down. Sure, they were above water, but what it certainly didn’t feel that way sometimes.
Entering his room, Tom sat down on the bed and swiped right on his screen. Time had come to beat some of the stress.
He found the app on the screen: ToonUp and opened it up.
A colorful toucan bird character appeared, word bubble saying, “Welcome back, GoofTime27!”
Tom smiled. This app always cheered him up. He found it a month ago and it allowed for some… delightfully silly times when he was feeling down.
The main page of the app opened, showing a map of the area with “Silly Events” happening or places to meet. In the corner, “Today’s You” button was available. Another corner, “Past Yous”
Tom looked at the map screen, seeing something called, “Glittery Finds” a block or two over. Clicking it, the event described, “Mingle with funny friends over glittery gifts and trinkets being shown or sold off! Note to Magpies: five item purchase limit”
Could be fun… he thinks. All of these events and gatherings all had fun times to be sure, especially with all of the colorful characters that appeared.
He decides to go check it out and prepares to close the app, deciding on using the “Today’s You” option when he was close by.
However, he spots something curious in the middle bottom of the screen, a new button! “Premium Membership Opportunity!”
Tom clicked it, showing a page for premium membership. It offers new kind toony, silly forms; longer lasting “events”; and special bonuses delivered straight to your emails.
The price was only $10 a month and Tom twitched. That sounded affordable… and there was an offer to start receiving fun right away.
Why not? He could use a fun bonus on top of everything!
He agreed to it, put in his paypad address and everything. Once done, he hit the submit button
The screen went to loading and soon, a new screen appeared: Congratulations on Premium Toonhood, GoofTime27! Enjoy your special “Today’s You offer: Dragon!”
Dragon? Well, that’s definitely different than what I get (flashback of cat and dogs), but I could work with-
The phone’s screen started brightening. Wait… what? Right now?
Tom’s jaw dropped. Why is it loading now? I didn’t even select it! This isn’t- oh.
The hand holding the phone felt warm and felt bigger. Hand begins to swell.
A light lime green tone appeared on the back of the hand and spread across it.
The sound of inflating balloon is heard as his hand swells and swells, features of it vanishing under a coat of green, with dark green lines representing scales
Fingers merge together for four digits and phone drops
Tom is shocked, shaking his hand rapidly as if that would do something. The changes shouldn’t happen right away until he hits a certain button! Is this is a glitch?!
Stops shaking hand and now is super inflated. Super pudgy and large.
The changes rapidly go down his arm, turning it bright green. Arm thickens up, tearing at his sleeve
POP! The other hand changes and the green spreads up that arm, changing in the same way.
Tom doesn’t like this at all, shoulders dipping low. The transformations never occurred without the prompting. This must be a mistake or something!
His pants start tightening and his stomach gurgles loudly. He doesn’t feel hungry.
But he does feel heavy. Stomach starts to swell, popping out and revealing yellow scales on his belly.
Tom looks up towards the doorway. He’s kind of nervous now. His roommate doesn’t care for his “interests” at all. As long as he doesn’t really see them (or at least for long), Korey won’t say anything. However, he usually avoided this by transforming out of the home.
Yellow-green striped horns pop through his red hair. Maybe if he hurries, he can slip out before Korey even notices?
He decides to test his luck, thinking Korey is still on the couch, and opens the door. Ears turn into light green frills
However, poking his head out, he sees Korey walking past towards the kitchen.
Tom cartoonishly gasps loudly and slaps his hand over his maw, feeling the two fangs pop out of his mouth
“Say something?” Korey calls out. “Nope!” Zip! Tom pulls his head back in.
“Dang it! He’s moving around too much! I can’t leave now…” He strokes his chin, trying to think up another plan.
Foot taps the ground, sock bulging. Rips follow as claws poke out his socks
He looks down and frowns, sucking in his gut (is it bigger?) and letting it go when he gasps again. Foot turns into large, three toed pudgy reptilian foot
Awwww gees! This isn’t good! I gotta move fast, but hooooow?
Rip! There goes the other sock, causing him to get more nervous
However, he notices the window and remembers he’s on the fire escape facing the alley! He could slid down that way!
Hehehe, Tommy, you’re one smart chocolate cookie~. He shakes his head. His thoughts feel sillier than before now.
He starts heading over, but his stomach gurgles loudly. Suddenly, the world seems to slightly shrink on him.
His legs have shortened… and gotten fatter and chunkier.
He hurries to the bedroom window before it is too late!
Guuuuurgle! His tummy… heck, his whole body feels odd now.
His figure reshapes itself. His chest and shoulders narrow while his body below widens.
Belly pops out from underneath his shirt, revealing yellow scales that stretch from his belly to his chest, striped ridges going upwards
His pants get tighter and tighter restricting his movement. His hips widen further and further, crotch and butt expanding large and round.
His belly seems to pull down and merge with it for a very pearish, cartoony figure.
He reaches the window and fumbles around with it, trying to unlock and pull it up. His big toony hands are struggling to properly work it.
His hair shortens and vanishes, his glasses growing bigger and rounder as his eyes turn cartoony with black slit dots for pupils.
He huffs and grumbles, some smoke leaving his nostrils as he mutters silly curses about trying to get the window open.
He eventually is able to and he sighs happily, treasure event here he comes!
He cartoonishly tries to jump out of it but WOOOMP!
In his jump, his legs rapidly change. Thighs shifted to the sides of hips and legs shorten, stance more cartoonish.
His pear bottom half widened even further, causing him to get stuck in the window.
The whiplash called his top half to stretch out, same with his neck before snapping back a little.
“wHat?!” Tom huffs, “that’s not fair!”
He puts his hands on the window sill and tries pulling himself out. His neck growing even longer as scales sprouted further across him.
Eventually, he somehow falls back in with a big Ba-BOOM!
Pants completely tear apart, revealing a null bottom as he hits the ground.
Fa-FWOMP! Large, fat, green tail pops out and smack down on the ground and bed, four feet long.
Tom grumbles, rubbing his head as more smoke comes his nose. His body is lot bigger and longer, nearly eight feet long from all the pulling, pushing, and stretching he did.
He looks down at himself, sighing and shaking his head. Well he’s certainly not going to fit out the window now at this rate! Hell, he might even fit through the door.
The cartoonish toon smoke is starting fill his room a bit, the bedding and items getting a goldish sheen to them and the walls looking more… rock like.
He taps his chin, thinking long and hard about what to do. Dang it, think ya doofus dragon! But dat head to work!
After some more thinking, a thought hits him with a big boom… or that could be the extra body weight making his toony pear shape even bigger and his top even thinner.
Still, it’s a great thought. He huffs out a big smoke cloud of a thumbs up, congratulating himself on the brilliant idea.
Just make the window bigger! Duuuuuuh!
He sits up and waddles over to the window again, his big body wiggling and shaking from side to side with pride.
He grabs the window sill and stretches it and stretches it.
Scales fully cover him and face stretches out into a muzzle as he strains himself.
Boom! Perfect size window to fit his big butt!
He claps his hands and hisses happily, a forked tongue sticking out briefly and some more smoke blowing out.
“Time to hit that Glittery Finds and see how glittery dem treasures are!”
He easily steps out and descends down the fire escape.
The window shrinks back to normal size, the window closing on itself.
Doing so trapped the large amounts of smoke in the room, filling it out. The room somehow became even bigger than it was, everything looking more like it was made of gold and treasure.
The room resembled that of a cave now, looking fit for a dragon toon storing his horde of trinkets and valuables.
The door, made of iron on one side, still had a crack at the bottom, letting its toon changing effects escape the room and float out in the rest of the apartment
-SCENE CHANGE-
There’s a knock at the door, getting Korey’s attention.
He walks over to it, pausing briefly. Someone cooking something somewhere?
His nose widens and turns a little darker as he sniffs.
He ignores it and opens the door. “Hey babe! Finally got off work!”
It’s Alicia Anderson, his girlfriend. She smiles and leans in, kissing him.
“Ooooh, now this is a surprise!” “Mhm, now this means you have to come over and surprise at some point as well.” “But of course!”
She steps in and pauses, sniffing the air. “You smell something?”
“Yeah, I think someone is cooking something. Really smokey. Hope they don’t set off the fire alarms.”
“Oof, talk about ruining my big visit then,” Alicia huffs. Her nose seems smaller and… greener.
However, neither of the two notice and kiss again.
Boop! Tom’s nose stretches and pushes Alicia’s head away. It’s now a big blackish brown sniffer.
Alicia stares at it blankly… like there’s something the matter
Tom asks her about it, but she just smiles… and smiles. Her mouth stretches out, lips turning pale yellow-green. Her maw is wider and slightly extended out away from her head
“Nuthin’... just enjoying that cute booper of yours~” She playfully pokes him on the nose
Woomp. Tom’s face stretches out from the boop, forming a short muzzle light brown hair
He chuckles. “Awww… and I love that cute, big smile of yours too~.”
The two chuckle and Alicia heads into the living room, taking a seat on the couch while Tom walks back over into the kitchen. The tiling is very stone-like now.
“Soooo, what does my girl want to eat? Probably hungry after a long shift~.” He opens the fridge and freezer. “I can make eggs, some ham sandwiches, fish sticks, fish pops, fish sandwiches, fish…”
Tom’s stomach gurgles. His musculature seems to fade a bit, to a smaller frame while still remaining fairly tall. Fish is on his mind.
“Hmmm… no thanks!” Alicia said absentmindedly, brushing the back of her head as she flips through some channels. Her dark hairbraids fade away
Suddenly, the sound of a click is heard and Alicia hops around with sproing. Her legs are rather green and slick now. She’s kneeling on the sofa, staring at Tom.
“Ooooooh, do you have fly scream? …I mean, ice cream?”
“Let’s see… we do have several ice cream flavors. There’s chocolate, vanilla, oyster, Dragon’s Fruity Delight, carmel, mostiquo-”
Alicia quivers and shakes. BOING! She jumps over the couch, feet stretching out and breaking her sandals as they grow and she lands
“OOoooh! I love mostiquo!” She slurps her lips, her tongue very pink and rather long.
“Mostiquo it is!” Korey grabs it and pulls back. Rather cold! Fingers go down to four
He reaches back in again and grabs it, developing pads and then fur. Weird, it was so cold before but now he notices nothing.
Must have been his head. He holds out the container to show Alicia, who claps her hands excitedly.
Sproing! She bends down and leaps forward, developing green webbed feet. She nearly hits the light!
“Careful with those sproings! I have enough trouble with that dragon bonking into everything already.” He wags a disapproving finger at her, hands swelling up and getting pudgy
“Sorry~” Alicia standing up straight, her waist looking far narrower and her breasts down to low Bs.
Korey also pulls out the oyster ice cream container and sets them down on the counter, which has a wooden, rustic feel, like a ship
He gets out the bowls and rather big spoons. “YOINK!” Alicia declares, pulling the spoon from his hand. His ears twitch and turn otter-like.
Alicia’s hand stretched out, gaining long fingers and webbing. It turned green and thin when it snapped back, the other arm changing.
She takes the container and bounces back to the sofa, carefully avoiding the ceiling this time.
The room is looking more forestry and beach-like in its design, but no one seems to notice it. They do notice the smoke is less strong.
Korey thinks about it as he gets himself a bowl, thinking Tom has left.
He heads over to the counter, getting longer and lankier in ways
Sitting down next to her, feet a little longer and with three toes and pads. Fur is slowly climbing from his feet up his legs
He looks at Alicia, who is watching a documentary about bugs and eating her ice cream. She looks positively happy
Korey smiles. She’s so cute with her stretched, slimy amphibian face (no noses or ears) and silly proportions. How could an otter like him be so lucky?
Otter? For some reason, thinking that confuses him. He scratches briefly at his face as his head reshapes a little with more stretched out cheeks and dome-ish head.
However, he shrugs and starts eating his ice cream.
They ate happily in silence, Korey growing fur all over him and Alicia’s skin turning completely green and slick
Eventually, Alicia’s tongue snaps into the container and licks up the rest, snapping into her mouth. “Hehe, that was good! Too bad it went all to my hips~”
She playfully stands up and shakes her rear. Her hips widen.
And then WIDEN. They’re wider than her shoulders, her booty growing big and heart-shape to match
Korey snickers as some tufts of fur appear on his forehead. “Oh sweetie, it’s not like they weren’t already big!”
“Mmmm, yeah~.” Alicia giggles. Legs growing longer.
She bends down and leans up to him. “Ooooooo Koreykins, wherever does a frog like me get so lucky to be with a fuzzy sweetheart like you?”
“You won the lotto?” Hearts start floating off their heads, eyes turning cartoonishly big and with black pupils.
They lean in and kiss again, heads fully reshaping.
They kiss and kiss until POP! A big otter tail pops out above Korey’s rear, suddenly spinning like a propeller.
They eventually finish kissing and Alicia asks if they want to go for a nice stroll in the park together.
“And maybe play in the fountain?” “While I snap up some delicious bugs buzzing about?” “Sounds like a dream!” The two nuzzle and leave the apartment, hand in hand.
-Scene Change-
EPILOGUE
“Oopsie! Sworrie! Mah bad! Belly bump warning!”
Tom slipped through the crowd of toons, trying his best not to whack or bump anyone toooo much with his tail. It was a challenge admittedly, but he was trying!
He had just arrived at Glittery Finds and sure enough, what a treat! So many great things were about that he couldn’t help but stare at!
Treasures of all kinds from the homemade to rare toony jewels, he was in love!
His dragon heart couldn’t possibly take it, his head twisting all around and needing several times to unravel itself. He wanted it all.
What to get for the pile? Hmmm…
He spots some other dragons and comes over, sticking his long neck between them.
OOoooooo! Toon Gold statues and on sale too! Statues of everything and all the dragons were quickly gathering them up
Need for treasure pile! Need for hoarde!
Without thinking, he quickly snatches up a bunch and slaps some money down in a few seconds!
Stepping away, he looks at his trinkets. In them are a oyster statue and a fly statue.
He smiles. Oooooh, I bet dat silly otter at home and his bootiful frog would love these~.
He pauses… or maybe he could find some less sparkly trinkets? He really likes these a lot and a dragon couldn’t possibly give up his treasure TOO easily
