Spring Festival Garu + process

Compared to Kuya seen here this one was a little more straightforward to colour and render. When I get comfortable drawing I know I have to push myself to take it up another level. That way I don't laze around on my image and get nicer results than I intended.
The metal accessories and jewels are where I tried blinging up so the print would flash a little more. You'll also notice that when I illustrate for prints I go for the half body shot to privilege the portrait while still getting a good frame for the upper body. For Garu it was a bit hard because I absolutely wanted to show a bit of his groin area HAHAHA! In the end I borrowed a bit of his official art pose to get a bit of thigh skin in *nod nod*
