Netorase Phone version 0.14: Pushing Buttons

This update adds Chapter 29, making up the first part of Act XI, and Vignette 2.
It also includes huge improvements of the Pictures app, making it easier to know which pictures you're missing, and where to get those.
It also makes the game faster.
With this version, the game has now more than 100.000 words, and more than 400 pictures!
This update has been thoroughly tested by some very talented people over the last week. It should probably be the most stable version ever released!

Here are version 0.14 update notes:
Story:
- Added Chapter 29, making up the first part of Act XI.
- Added Vignette 2, triggered after Chapter 29 for now.
- When starting Memories, default choices are now applied depending on the selected route. For example, if starting a Memory on Chapter 18 or after, Submissive players will not have fucked Laura raw, while Dominant and Balanced players will have done it.
- Act names are only displayed in Memories for completed acts.
- Interludes should now be more varied, by avoiding triggering two interludes of the same category one after the other.
- 25 new Interludes.
- 55 new pictures.
Functionalities:
- The Pictures app now allow you to display the Alternative Version of certain pictures, instead of having them displayed as two different pictures.
- The Pictures app now allow you to sort the pictures by their Story Order, to display missing pictures, and to display pictures number and source.
- Contacts app is now ordered with the latest active chats on top.
- Fast Foward speed has been substantially increased.
- On Windows, the Quicksave slot is now always displayed in the Backup app, with an indication of buttons to use to save & load.
- Autosaves now trigger before Choices (if the last autosave is older than a minute).
- With Gaming Mode enabled, a small text marker in chats hightlights new pictures or variants.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no dice. I'm on Android, and if it helps, the last version of the game that seems to work is 0.10.3

2024-12-15 17:14:04 +0000 UTCI'm soft locked after chapter 13 I believe. Just after the first time Nathan sends me a text, and the chapter ended. There aren't any buttons I can press to advance the story on any of the 4 contacts I've unlocked at this point. For now I'll load a previous auto save and hope I don't run into the same problem again.

It’s great to see Laura get more comfortable with Ashley’s more direct flirting and showing us off to her friends (with the potential of more from them down the line). It was also great to keep the NTS theme in it as well with letting Laura swing by Nathan’s before committing to us for the night. The Christmas vignette was great as well. Super sexy and I was hoping we would get content like this around certain holidays.

2024-12-10 14:59:36 +0000 UTCFun chapter, thought you were tempting fate but technical performance is solid, no major bugs I found. Thought I found an inconsistency but another playthrough proved that wrong. Maybe going forward the answer is 1 larger chapter per update if it means this kind of stability. FF works pretty well. 'Improved Network Quality' mode feels faster too, I actually had to turn it off so I could read and I didn't have to do that before. One thing that could make it better is if choices with only one option were auto-picked in FF mode. Could also apply to 'meaningless' choices with no variable changes, but if you want to keep those hidden that's fine too. Not much else to say. Content wise, a chapter with 3 girls is going to be popular to a (presumably) predominantly male audience, no surprises there. But it was good on its own merit too. With Laura and Ashley becoming different flavors of each other, mixing Tara in is good for variety. Final choice seems to be another flag for the true NTR path for those interested, not sure how it'll play with other routing. Reading the others, it's a shame the premise of the game almost necessitates an android port.
