Poll: Chapter 45 sucks, what do?

As I said on the Showcase earlier today, I was sick for the last few days. And, while that made me unable to write, I could still look at what I had written beforehand, and so did my testers.
And, as a result, we noticed something glaring, that you might have guessed with this post's title: Chapter 45 sucks. Plain and simple.
I tried my best to have both the theme of the chapter (Hot springs) and its story focus (the kinks questioning) work together, but the end result is a jumbled, incohesive mess. These two elements don't work together at all. To directly quote one of my testers, "The chapter feels disjointed, like a random collection of scenes for asking questions".
There's a massive issue though, one you could probably guess: version 0.23, and Chapter 45, are supposed to release in a week.
So, basically, there's two possibilities:
1 - I complete Chapter 45 as it is, and release the completed jumbled mess. You might enjoy it or, like us, you might not, and I might have to rewrite it.
2 - I restart work on Chapter 45 from scratch, making sure it's a proper story. To allow for that, though, I'd have to skip the normal release date for version 0.23, and push it back to later, basically skipping a version.
I realize this is a hard question to ask, but I'm kinda torn on this one. On one hand, I don't want to miss my usual deadline. On the other hand, I don't want to release a chapter that most people will find terrible.
So, I'm opening this decision to you. Should I complete my work on Chapter 45 as it is, or should I restart it from scratch, and push version 0.23 to later?

too me this seems a bit belated. The last two releases kind of felt disjointed from the direction the story went in in the previous section about Laura exploring letting MC fuck Ashley. as well as the Tara watching/tara MC friendship building stuff. The last two chapters felt like slightly altered copy pastes of each other. So having something that feels disjointed and not coherent with them tells me things have just not been on the rails the last month. Honestly I would prefer that the last chapter be reworked alongside this one since it was just a rehash of the previous party except this time you were forced to get cucked for reasons that still elude me....I'd have preferred some more interesting options..like getting to meet Nathan and the boys ...and having the long promised 3 way with laura, mc, and someone else whether it was Ash, Tara, Nathan, or have MC and Laura or Ashley cuck marcel...that would have been much more coherent. but alas that discussion gets shut down so I will leave it at that.....Honestly I thing you could release it to patrons as a draft to see if we have any feedback. and rework it afterwards while working on the next release.

Come up with ways to make the scenes feel less disjointed? This poll and the way you worded it feels leading/obviously one-sided. No middle ground? How long of a delay? Wiping out a whole release worth of progress and skipping until the next release? There's no possibility of say, taking an extra week to edit and piece together what's already there? I love your work and the game you've created but this particular post and the options you present in it doesn't sit with me.
