Poll: The Oliver Conundrum, Part 2

The previous poll had issues linked to the fact that both answers 1 and 2 seemed "the same" to some people, and even though you could vote on both, it made answers unreliable.
Also, some people apparently thought I was going to literally kill Oliver.
So, here's the poll again, but with only 2 clearer options. If the "Keep Oliver" option is chosen when the poll ends, I'll make another poll to decide how.
When Oliver got introduced in Chapter 21, I imagined him as "the" Dom bull. Just like Nathan, I was planning to have him be a mainstay in the game, offering some variety, and an interesting dynamic.
Sadly, Oliver proved divisive, for the very simple reason that I didn't write him properly enough. He wasn't a good, respectful Dom to Laura, and was humiliating toward you. It made a lot of people absolutely hate him, and that pushed me to make him optional.
After that, my plans were to simply put him under the rug, have him get a girlfriend, and remove him from the story. He would have been replaced by another Dom bull, written properly (at least, I hope) from the onset.
But a lot of people have been asking for Oliver to come back. The issue is that I can't simply bring him back in the current situation, because a lot of people that would enjoy a Dom bull might have removed him from the story.
So, let's choose between two options:
1 - I keep Oliver as a character, either improving his past appearances, or having him come back after having "improved".
2 - I remove Oliver from the story, and replaces him with a better Dom bull.
PS: Oliver is the Dom bull Laura met in a bar in Chapter 21. He's NOT Mike, the cheating asshole, Sarah's ex-boyfriend. I don't know why people mix these two...

Hi. I am one that didn't liked Oliver too much. Even if I am on the sub route. I think it may be too hard to recover him. Now in the Slut Era she may have much more chance to meet other men. On the dom side. Regarding Nathan. No complain and I understand the steady bull role but... It is somehow disappointing to me how much his relation with Laura is 'steady'. Actually MC is not even required (appreciate the scene in 50 btw). It is just so close to being able to overcome the MC as her BF: she has better sex with him, she has fun with him, he is known and appreciated to her friends... So close to turn NTS>>>NTR, stealing her. As the MC I am not against him, but would feel much assured in my relationship with her with much more fooling around (on scenes upon her on will or even better decided as our shared fantasy), than with a too much steady relationship with Nathan.

You even mention it's now the slut era. It actually got me excited in the game again. Then 2 or 3 chapters we are just back to Nathan lol and we even have to double dip on a creampie scenario. We are even contemplating one of the few characters who, just my opinion of course, actually adds something new or different. I am already seing the creampie laura, thanks dude, see you later dude scene for chapter 52

Then it would be best to get rid of Oliver and go forward in the story with a new character. Otherwise, a reader already has the option to remove Oliver from the story... If it skips content, it skips content...🤣

2025-09-18 23:55:13 +0000 UTCPersonally, I always found having Oliver in the chapter more fun, not compared to Nathan but because he is an ongoing character that doesn’t show up all the time. I like Nathan and his friendship between the MC and Laura is nice to see developing but Oliver is just nice to have to bring in something new every once in a while Personally if you ask me who should be the next main ‘Dom’ I wouldn’t say Oliver, I’m more with Laura’s ex, i mean story wise I know makes no sense as he is far away, but the dynamic of her ex, he has a big D, and the story progression of the ex slowly getting better in bed the more he sleeps with Laura (maybe Ashley too after she hears how big he is 🤣) is definitely something I’m into 🤷♂️
