Sacred Gear Omnitrix Ch. 2

Chapter 2: Tea, Temptation And Trouble.

-0-

The atmosphere in the Occult Research Club was quiet yet tense. Rias sat across from me, her crimson hair catching the light that streamed through the window, a calm yet calculating look in her eyes. Akeno stood to her side, ever-smiling, graceful as always. She had offered me a cup of tea earlier, along with some sweets that smelled faintly of honey.

“So,” Rias began, her voice smooth but edged with curiosity, “what do you say about my offer?”

The others in the room—Koneko and Kiba—were minding their own business. Kiba sat quietly near the chessboard, his expression unreadable, while Koneko was focused on her sweets, nibbling on them with her usual detached expression. The rest of the club members were apparently out, busy performing pacts.

I met Rias’s gaze evenly, my expression calm and steady. I reached for the tea, took a slow sip, savoring its warmth, then gently set the cup back down on the table.

“My decision still stands firm,” I said simply, not wavering in my choice.

Rias studied me for a moment before speaking again. “Are you sure about that?” Her tone carried a subtle challenge. Then she turned her eyes toward Koneko. “Koneko, you’re up.”

Without a word, Koneko stood from her seat and approached me. The next thing I knew, she was pressing herself against me, rubbing her chest on my arm. Her expression stayed blank, but her closeness was anything but innocent.

“I heard from your friends that you have a lolita complex,” Rias said, a hint of amusement playing in her voice.

I froze. Motohama and Matsuda. Those damn idiots. It had to be them. I swore to myself that next time, I was going to ditch those two horn dogs and find better friends.

But before I could speak, Rias added, “In addition… Akeno.”

Akeno’s smile deepened as she approached. She moved with that teasing grace only she could pull off, her eyes half-lidded, her lips curved in playful delight. She came close enough that I could feel the heat of her skin, then she slid her arm through mine, pressing it between her soft curves.

“W-What the—”

Before I could even finish my thought, Akeno leaned in and bit my ear gently. I felt her breath—warm, slow, deliberate brush against my skin. I tried, really tried not to react, but my face betrayed me.

Koneko noticed my faint blush and narrowed her eyes. Not to be outdone, she climbed onto my lap, unbuttoned her shirt just a little, and laid her head against my chest.

Akeno smirked, clearly amused, and decided to match Koneko’s boldness. She undid the top buttons of her shirt, took my hand, and pressed it between her breasts.

My mind went blank. Completely blank.

My skin touched hers, warm and impossibly soft. I swallowed hard as my brain scrambled for coherence. I moved my hand slightly and accidentally brushed against her nipple—Akeno let out a small, sensual moan.

That sound… yeah, that one nearly shattered my self-control.

“Contact check… warmth check… sexiness check… size check,” I mentally listed, doing my best to keep my composure.

“Okay, that’s enough.”

Rias’s voice broke through the haze like cold water. Koneko and Akeno immediately stepped back, returning to their usual places like obedient soldiers.

Rias tilted her head slightly, studying me again. “I’m convinced, Levy. You really didn’t budge?”

“Ha! Did you think a mere seduction would crack my wall? Unless it’s nude, maybe a little—but even then, it still wouldn’t put a dent.” I said, straightening proudly, feeling oddly accomplished.

Rias chuckled softly, amused. “Then, before you go… can we have one last game?”

I nodded. I didn’t see a reason to refuse.

Akeno set up the chessboard as we sat down opposite each other. The pieces gleamed under the light, and as the game began, our voices echoed softly with each move. We played for a while with Rias pushing me to bring forcing me put my entire focus on the game. To be honest she had gotten a lot tougher than last time we played.

“N–KB3,” I called. The knight moved on its own, gliding smoothly across the board.

Rias was focused, her strategy sharp and deliberate. “P–Q3,” she answered after a pause, a move that nearly cornered me. She’d gotten a lot better.

But I had seen it coming.

“B–QB4,” I said, watching as my piece moved into place. “Checkmate.”

Rias blinked in surprise, then smiled, leaning back in her chair. I stood, gathering my things to leave, when she spoke again.

“If you change your mind, we’ll be available.”

I nodded. I knew why she was so persistent. She was convinced I possessed a sacred gear though she couldn’t tell which one. In this world, where angels, devils, fallen angels, and gods themselves clashed, having strong allies mattered.

But truthfully, even I didn’t know what my sacred gear was. I had no clue.

The last bell of the day rang, and I headed for the lockers to grab my shoes. Of course, Motohama and Matsuda were already waiting there like vultures.

“Hey! Did you see them? Did you get the dirty deed?” Motohama asked, his tone hungry for gossip.

I ignored him completely.

As I pulled my shoes from the locker, something slipped out—a small, neatly wrapped letter. Motohama and Matsuda froze instantly. A confession letter.

Before I could react, Motohama snatched it up and sniffed it.

“It smells like perfume. Apple, maybe.”

I stared at him in disbelief. How the hell did this guy’s nose work? Anything involving a girl, and he was suddenly Sherlock Holmes. I grabbed the letter back and read it quickly.

It was a confession.

For a moment, I couldn’t believe it—me, getting confessed to. It was happening. It was actually happening.

The letter said to meet her at the bridge after school, with the time clearly written. Motohama and Matsuda’s faces twisted in pure jealousy as I grinned from ear to ear.

I arrived ten minutes early, nervous but excited. Then I saw her.

She was gorgeous—too gorgeous. Her figure, her poise… everything about her screamed mature. She didn’t look like a high schooler at all.

That’s when a cold realization hit me.

“Why do I suddenly feel like an Issei victim?” I muttered.

“Hi,” she greeted softly. But before I could even respond, the air around us twisted. The sky darkened, reality itself seeming to bend and distort.

“Sorry,” she said with a smirk, “but I’m not Raynare. I won’t play all lovey-dovey with you. I’ll strike you down now.”

Black wings burst from her back. Fallen angel.

My stomach dropped.

Rias had warned me that fallen angels were targeting sacred gear wielders. Guess she was right.

The woman formed a glowing spear of light and hurled it at me. I barely dodged, the projectile slicing past my side and slamming into the bridge with explosive force.

The entire structure shook.

“Hey! Can we talk this out? You could’ve at least given me one date before trying to kill me!” I shouted, panic creeping into my voice.

She smirked. “Ha! Don’t make me laugh. A boring man like you could never satisfy a woman like me, your sorry ass could have sent me to a yawn-thon.”

That stung more than it should’ve.

Another spear formed in her hand, larger this time. She hurled it straight down at me. I didn’t have time to dodge. The bridge exploded beneath me, collapsing in a storm of concrete and dust.

“You can’t even use your sacred gear,” she said coldly, her wings beating above as she hovered. “This’ll be easy.”

Rubble buried me. Pain flooded through my body.

“What the fuck was I thinking?” I groaned, barely able to move. A massive piece of debris pinned me down.

“I knew it was a setup… an Issei-type crap trap. And I still fell for it.” I coughed weakly, spitting dust. “I was a complete moron to hope for something different.”

Then… something changed.

A faint green glow began to spread from my arm beneath the rubble. The fallen angel noticed it too, her eyes narrowing.

The glow brightened—then I saw it.

A watch.

Not just any watch.

The Omnitrix.

“Wait,” I whispered, staring in disbelief. “My sacred gear… is the fucking Omnitrix?”

The device beeped. The central dial rose and spun, displaying a silhouette of an alien form. My body was moving on instinct—I slammed my hand down on it.

A flash of green light engulfed me. I felt my body shift, my DNA twist and rewrite itself. Bones stretched, muscles changed. My entire being transformed.

And just like that I became one of the coolest aliens in existence.
