We're here in August. The tyranny of the sun reigns.

I've been plinking away on a couple games in my free time, and I think there will be a proper "fun lil game" soon for all of you.

I've finally gotten through whatever I needed to get through and I've been writing on This Cage Is Worms regularly. I'm back to my "thotz about games" old ways, and some posts you might like could be:

- a post on videogame "story loot" and systems of balance in games

- a short piece about a short story I really liked

- a microessay on the design concept of "flow" following Lana Polansky's recent post

I've also been really committing to making video stuff recently (and I should definitely update the front page of this Patreon to keep up with my speedy lifestyle). Some fun stuff:

- a video of some teenagers RUTHLESSLY trash talking one another in Grand Theft Auto Online

- some AMAZING PRO STRATEGIES for the brand new Rocket League game

- a Dark Souls lore-style video for the most DEEPESTEST game ever made
