We learned about how to do a hack in the truly underrated 1992 film Sneakers. Sure, in this episode we get into a severe disagreement about how good a different movie is. And sure, also, since I am writing this I get to assert that Austin is wrong. But Sneakers is great, and we agree that this hacker heist film has "got the stuff" in a way that basically no movie made about the year 2008 does. Movies!

My read of the silhouette art in Cosmos office was that it was supposed to be a standee of a gunfighter. The motion detector sequence is framed to resemble standoff at the end of Good Bad and the Ugly, with extreme closeups of Redford moving very deliberately and staring down his opponent. The standee allows them to have a third member in the gunfight.
