2021-10-17 12:30:08 +0000 UTChmm, since it was kinda sorta brought up; did you know the korean language, or at least the writing system, was deliberately made to be as easy to read as possible? somewhere back in the 1400s the then king of korea decided to commission a writing system that is as easy to grasp as possible, to allow everyone to write it. before that the written script used was quiet complex in nature and only really used by academics. the king got several dozen scholars and academics together and they all worked together to create the system that is used until this very day.
