Hypnovember File Challenge

[Before we get down to business... next file is out 31/10: Jock Possession. 🏈πŸ’ͺπŸ§’πŸ‘»]

Hey everyone!

Soooo. I promised for the month of November that I was going to have some sort of 30-day challenge going on for specific Patron tiers, and I'm going to discuss the details of it with you now. I'm making this post readable by all tiers so people can understand what this benefit actually means.

Firstly, if you have clicked into the community chat tab on either the mobile or desktop versions of the Patreon app, you will have already seen me talk a little bit about this; so I'll cut to the chase.

For the month of November, I am formally inviting you to join me for the 30-Day Hypnovember Challenge!

STEP ONE: First, decide on a file schedule for yourself that you wish to follow.

STEP TWO: Try to adhere to this for the entire month.

Aaaand... that's it!

You can choose any number of files, from any number of creators, on any topic of your choosing. You don't have to feel like it has to be one of my files just because it's my page. I will of course be very happy to read about you trancing to my work, but I'm not possessive and there's lots of good stuff out there so don't be shy!

Every week, I will be making a post about my own progress in the file-schedule I choose for myself, as well as reviewing any effects I may experience. The comment section on each post will be a great opportunity for you all to reflect on how you've done over last week, and share any wins or progress you may have made in relation to this.

Disclaimer: Ultimately, the frequency you trance for the challenge is up to you. I, of course, cannot tell everybody you MUST listen once a day. Everybody's rhythm is unique, and everybody's schedules are different. I will say that I prefer to trance daily when I'm able to, and I think that trancing more frequently leads to better results - for example, I think that trancing 1-2 times a week is going to be slower to affect change then 3-4 times per week.

Why does trancing more frequently help?

I've used a lot of metaphors to describe how I view the power of hypnosis, but I most often talk about it as being both a matter of "mental saturation" (i.e, practicing thinking certain thoughts) and "an opportunity to mentally rehearse a state" (that you want to experience more in your waking life.) For either of these aims, higher frequency will lead to better results.

Simply put, sometimes to get a ball rolling, you need to spend a little bit of time at the beginning dedicatedly applying force to it. That's how I view these sorts of challenges. I can personally attest that I've experienced a bulk of my real hypnotic successes in periods where I diligently commit to trancing X amount of times in a week or month. They're where my stickiest, most permanent suggestions have come from; but I'm not going to talk about those here because I've already done so at length in blog posts previously.

If at allll possible, I encourage you to try for at least every second day for the month of November; you could maybe trance as part of your morning routine, as part of a wind-down before bed, or in lieu of a nap or rest you might take in the evening after work or school... trance is fun, obviously, but it's also an excellent activity to engage the parasympathetic nervous system and replenish your energy! I sometimes tell my family I'm "meditating" to excuse my random lengths locked in my bedroom 😝 Half a lie, but half true; trancing will carry many of the same benefits, so it is genuinely good for you to do.

(And if nothing else, it's good to get a break from the constant stimulation of the digital world by closing your eyes and focusing on things you actually WANT for a while.)

How else do I participate, besides just listening?

As mentioned, you can participate socially by commenting on these posts with your own journey; or alternatively, by using the Patreon Community tab if you'd prefer not to have so public a record! I'm going to use the chat myself, but I do think that many Patrons don't even know where it is... it's a fairlyyyy half-baked feature and it's not really ingrained in Patrons to look at it, so I don't want to rely on it fully. From a member's perspective, you'll find it here on the sidebar (PC) above your notifications tab. On mobile, you access it by touching the Message Bubble icon at the bottom of the screen. I'll check in once weekly, but you can do so more regularly (or less regularly) if you'd prefer.

Looking forward to seeing you all join me! :3

Awesome bro! (I'll be posting my own updates weekly to avoid spamming people lol.)

Conor Clancy

Oooookay, I started with the first file right in the morning in bed 😁

Ben

Nothing chosen yet!! I've actually taken an unprecedented two weeks off trancing so gotta get back on the horse. Thinking about Hyphyphurray's Muscle Boy file though πŸ‘€ or Special Pup, but haven't heard that one yet at all.

Conor Clancy

Lmaoo that's my bad then!! I also love that Melting file, he seems sweet too. <3 Happier recommend that one. Yeah the Just A Little Dumber Bro is hot but not something I'd looove from a creator standpoint lol.

Conor Clancy

And I agree, I am not sure about that Just A Little Dumber Bro myself. I wouldnβ€˜t want to listen to that one on a daily basis for a month πŸ˜‰

Ben

Sorry for not being more exact there. I didn't want to really advertise other files here. Actually I was talking about melting's Dumb Bro Conditioning.

Ben

got a file you'll be listening to yourself? :3 i'm thinking mayyyybe Vox's file about turning big words into a trigger to blank you out since it seems like a fun little reminder of being dumb throughout the day, or maybe just Avis's painted himbo to really hammer it in lol. maybe both! :3

dummypup

I'm assuming it's Just A Little Dumber Bro. I'm not going to staunchly recommend it, I have some ethical objections and would not want to throw my creator name behind it but I am a subject of it myself lol.

Conor Clancy

The only bro file I have bookmarked on SoundCloud is your own "chill out, bro", and it doesn't sound like you guys are talking about a jockout file. If it's an AvisSapiens file, I have it downloaded rather than on SC, but if it's not either of those, what is it?

meatheadosis

Funnily enough I actually did a full week of that file myself there a couple of weeks ago!! Definitely an intense time. And a fun one to try for a month I'm sure πŸ˜‰

Conor Clancy

I already listened to a "bro" file on Soundcloud (I think that you commented that one about two months ago) every day for about two weeks now. And I can confirm that it really makes a difference how often you listen to/repeat these trances. Compared to your (very good) files that one is a bit more robust (less nice "good boy" and more "bro"ish). Maybe that is why I'm responding to it really good. And I can imagine to be part of your challenge with that file (and of course with one or two files from you). πŸ˜‰
