Added 2025-01-14 23:00:01 +0000 UTCAnother dumbing file! This one's a lil different to Dumbing Dial in that it is both dedicated AND permanent... but it's got an interesting mechanism for dumbing. It's loosely inspired by my reading the description for the file You Are Not Getting Dumber by OxyFemboi on WarpMyMind; per description, that file contains no suggestion to actually dumb you down, but DOES contain ones that make you think it's happening... and turns out, that's the same thing.
This file twists that into helping you understand that through alllll those little mistakes, flubs, typos, errors, misclicks, misspeaks, moments of confusion or ditziness that we all experience, you already prove your capacity to be dumb... and can learn good it feels to allow this to happen, more and more, and change the way you and others view you.
It's a sweet little poison... and one that, in signing up for, you're already showing your skill to be DUMB. It's gonna be so easy to empower that.

Honestly, it feels less like Iβm becoming dumber and more like Iβm accepting how dumb I am. Iβm less embarrassed about little dumb things I do and say. It has become something that excites me a little when I catch it happening. Given the trash heap of politics in the US and the world in general, Iβve stopped trying to keep up with the news. Brain off about those things that donβt interest me or have nothing to do with my day-to-day life. Was anyone ever going to ask me for my opinion on politics? Am I happier paying less attention? Yes, I am. I think also imposter syndrome has often been this crippling fear for me, that anxiety that someone will figure out that I donβt know what Iβm doing or talking about and that Iβve been faking it this whole time, that seems suddenly less of a threat and I feel less stressed about it. If 2025 is about living authentically then what I do and do not know is going to be more obvious. And if that means embracing being a dumb himbo, then hereβs hoping I become the best dumb himbo I can be.
