In truth, the main reason I planned this is to have a way to keep in touch with Patrons. DMs can be clunky + time-consuming, and the Community Chat feature isn't widely adopted by everyone... so this is a good alternative, more dedicated to contact.
But I do also want to provide a bit of a community hub, a place for people to contact me or others who share similar interests. No, it's not a hypnosis-classifieds... we've all seen enough of that in other servers. But it's still nice to connect with people in the sphere, even just to make friends. Hypnokink, like any kink, is a wonderful way to connect with others and bonding over shared desires is an affirming experience. [Additionally, some of my Patron incentives at higher-tiers are socially-based, particularly the Monthly Challenges I want to run, and the Patreon Community Chat was just not cutting it. 😆]
Paid Patrons have access to specific channels that free members don't; however, as long as you play by the rules, everyone's welcome to join whether you're in my Patreon or not. <3 Free members can use the general chat channels with impunity!
