All in all, even though there were some things about the past two episodes that really, really bothered me, the show was still a delight and easily the best competition show I've seen so far. The energy was very wholesome and very supportive the entire way through, and even the whole Karam thing was a result of societal pressure and expectations and not so much the show's fault itself (though it would be awesome to see a show like this take a stand and actually defend the idols more but that's a conversation for another day-).
So excited for VANNER, I expected them to win tbh, even if my personal picks were DKB and MASC (sidenote I LOVE how popular MASC were, hopefully this will lead to us getting more duos in K-Pop again and hopefully they'll be active the industry more). But honestly and truly, out of all the groups there, I feel very comfortable saying that VANNER deserved that win the most. Not just because of their situation, but also because of their attitude and skill. Truly a great show concept, and I hope that they do it for girl groups too someday, even if I'd argue that boy groups are going severely more underappreciated in terms of talent nowadays.

It's funny that you mention that because I actually do plan on doing that now that I've finished posting the episodes and I've already recorded a marathon of BAE173 and I actually really like them! I was waiting for them to comeback to post it to YouTube but now that I know that there's interest, I'll probably post it early to Patreon once I edit it! And that's really interesting to hear about the Unit, I know the concept of the Kingdoms and Queendoms but even though I know some songs from UNB and UNI.T, I've never watched the shows or looked into the members, so I'll probably check it out in the future! Thanks for letting me know about it!

2023-07-10 00:00:49 +0000 UTCOnly if your up for it at some point it would be nice to check out some of the groups that you haven't reacted to before expecially the top 6 I absolutely loved the concept of the show it was like The Unit meets Road to Kingdom as RTk was about groups competing against each other in a friendly environment and The Unit was about underrated groups/artists competing to be in a temporary boy group kinda like what Team 24 was now that I think about it even Hangyul was on The Unit that man re-debuted way too many times lol I really hope this means more exposure for Bae173 just so Hangyul doesn't debut a 5th time lol
