I really like Iori and how her attitude towards losing her son clashes so starkly with Duane's towards losing Mikaila (and Rahm's towards the same loss, though we haven't seen how he deals with it yet). Iori really clings to her faith in order to cope with hardship but in quite a different way from Duane. Granted, she's Gefendur and he's Ssaelit, but he's too eager to take suffering into himself as punishment while Iori sees it as a temporary roadblock on the way to inevitable transcendence.
Someone had mentioned last update that it seemed a little weird how calmly she related this story. But it's because she's at peace with what happened. She doesn't fall into paroxysms of grief.
Like Sette, I think Iori lives in the best world.
