I was ill all weekend which was no fun at all. My dog is having issues where she has to wake me up every hour of the night yowling over nothing. Then someone decided to create fake internet controversy so I had to field that in my inbox all day yesterday. Kids. These kids need lives. So Ashley's getting it from all sides lately!
I hope this day sees you doing better, gentle patrons.

I don't mind confrontations or critiques with merit - I like 'em! - but that's not what any of this was. Just goofy arguing over semantics and the perception that I'm some thin-skinned crybaby. Blah, blah. I think it's calmed down now.

When I saw him berating you for the way you handled it, I was quite sure he’s not a reader, but just some (internet MRA) guy who saw your initial reply reblogged and decided to come to your blog to pick a fight. I think you should be safe from something like that here on patreon. But seriously, everything seems to turn so vitriolic nowadays… and not just on the internet.
