I love your Christmas soundtrack! And we do love your voice :) My one thing with doing a trivia question is I will never win as struggle with timed competitions, random has the niceness of being equal chance among the patrons.

Wow, not many tricky questions there! O_o Nicely answered too. I would never describe your voice as weird. But I'm sure people have told you before that if Unsounded was ever animated your voice *is* Sette. :D

!!! I'm REALLY excited to read that story, when you write it! And the one about Duane!

Additional: I doubt you read stuff like Warhammer 40k but their is a class of people in it called nulls or Pariahs who are exactly what you mentioned, soulless. They are deeply discomforting for people with souls to be near since they can sense the blankness inside them. Might that also happen here? Do people in unsounded interact with their souls on a subconscious perceptual level? Could they sense that something was missing? Alternately might they instinctively ignore such a person; i.e if they sneak up behind you might you never get a instinctive 'feeling' that someone else was in the room? Is it possible that such a person would be literally invisible to Chit , Duane or any sort of pymaric??

zboylan

That part about soulless people; Wouldn't they be highly effective against glamor and things like the eels? Glamors affect perception which records memories into their soul, without a soul might they short circuit the process? Same with the eels, they would have no way to access memories to draw forth. I could see a black tongue figuring it out and intentionally creating they as anti pymaric weapons.

Yes please! Some of your fans may also be asleep when it's announced, because of shift work and/or time zones.

For some reason, I keep wanting to read that first line as: Jingle bells, Tittybird smells, zombie laid an egg.

Merry belated christmas and a Happy New Year!

It's a good idea, no? But it does make me think of Frankenstein's monster and the blind man he befriended.

Ashley

Oh, sure, I agree that conjuring up supernatural myths and explanations is a part of human nature. Astrology is a pretty specific type of that though, and while the Gefendur faith has myths behind the stars and moon, they don't have anything to compare with it.

Ashley

Thanks for answering my questions! For the record: I don't believe in astrology actually being able to predict anything, but I do think it kinda natural for human societies, like, you know, animism or belief in afterlife. And Zodiac is just a set of names for the stars in the part of the sky where Sun spends a month, so I kiiiiinda think it natural, too.

Danila

Instead of first person to send in the trivia facts, how about a lottery between all the correct answers? That helps those who might be at work or traveling when the trivia contest begins! :)

Drewb

Yes, please give Duane a child guardian angel who looks after him during that first year. (Even if "looking after" him is just going THAT SCARY MAN IS BACK!! I need to watch out for that guy)
