Man, that fifth panel really freaks me out. I had to keep a Photoshop palette over it as I was working, it was giving me the heebies so bad.

Anyway, I found it odd that I didn't see a single person anywhere consider that maybe this was the Queen's doing. Everyone just sort of went along with the idea that she and Roger were in love and assumed Ruck had somehow stolen him away. If you go back and look at that scene of them together, she never questions why Roger is going away and is in fact quick to reassure him it was no big deal and they'd be together again soon. I'm not gonna say much more than that but all signs point to her knowing where he was going and being quite all right with it.

Of course her mood did sour afterwards in that scene. There could be more going on than we know (and there is).

But Queen Sonorie is no helpless victim here.
