Added 2016-09-23 02:21:25 +0000 UTCOoooh, this chapter ran a bit longer than I had hoped it would, even with a particularly solid effort from me to keep the Ripas' story tidy and subtextual. I think it came together all right though, and I love ending it here with Murkoph finding a benefactor in Lady Ilganyag. She doesn't seem to like Murkoph himself much (who does) but perhaps there's something valuable about him? Something to be salvaged, at least.
The fullest and bestest write-up is over on the website (also, go look at the preview page!), but in a nutshell we're now on hiatus for the rest of the year. You guys get special love though because you're special.
I'm off travelling for a week - Saturday to Saturday - but when I return I'll begin posting instalments of the short story I've talked about in the past. It'll be for backers $5 and up. If you ever wondered how Duane survived as a new corpse and managed to get from that ship out of Alderode to on his own two feet in Sharteshane, it may be of interest to you. It'll also delve back a few years in places and touch upon some Aldish stuff. I think it will be worth reading and will serve as a good bridge to chapter 12!

Here I was getting ready to upgrade to the 10$ tier when I noticed that you had extended the same benefits to the 5$ one. If you ever give other stuff to the higher tier like exclusive wallpapers I would't mind increasing my pledge. It does't have to be anything big or time consuming.
