Welcome back to Unsounded, and thanks so much for sticking with me through the hiatus! Did you have a groovy holiday season? Mine was pretty uneventful - the usual family and feasting and crippling social anxiety induced by sibling rivalry and tumultuous national politics but hey! There was pie!

Welcome to the new Patrons! I think some of you are here because of that namedrop in Saga? Very awesome. We're coming back today with just the title page. These blue ladies are senet beasts known colloquially as waterwomen or waterwitches, and they'll prove pretty important in the next few chapters. I really had to do some soul-searching in deciding how to depict them. Like Lady Ilganyag, the waterwomen let it all hang out, and that has always seemed pretty important to me. Clothing is a human contrivance to protect us from the elements and to reflect cultural norms. The senet beasts were designed specifically for their elements and their cultural norm is perfect harmony with that element. So no clothes. Please abide the boobs and eventual peens. Would it be helpful if I put NSFW in the title of pertinent pages? Or would that be a weird and unnecessary distraction? Help me help you.

This chapter is pretty political, with first person introductions to a lot of groups that have hitherto only been discussed by third parties. Been hoping to encounter the Queen of Cresce? Nary Frummagem? Captain Toma's wife? The Black Tongue en masse? Buckle up.
