Added 2019-08-19 04:01:22 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favourite Lemuel pages. He expresses who he is and what drives him in fairly stark terms. Yes, he has an inferiority complex when it comes to Duane but he's also fiercely proud of his own small achievements, and he's not going to fall into the stupid traps that Duane lays for himself. Reality sucks! But Lem doesn't shy away from the ugliness that this world demands, like his soft-hearted and stupid brother. Nor does he hide from it by making a Best World like a certain betailed brat. He meets the ugliness wherever it wants to engage and he fights it there!
But it's time for the chapter's Final Act. Two pages on Wednesday. They're pretty high in sodium.
