It's cosy enough, low rent, though her landlord did go and vanish for ten years.
I really like the last panel of her smile cracking some of the salt off her face. All you need is love!

Thanks! Also, he's artistically falling apart in those scenes, so one is already conditioned not to take his looks literally.

2019-09-16 19:38:22 +0000 UTCThe low lighting makes him stand out in particular in these scenes, especially his eyes, but yeah. He's always been red-fleshed and red-eyed; a Copper. I think the other issue is he was always hanging out with dark-skinned people in his prior scenes. Now we see him compared to fair-skinned people like Duane and his colouration really stands out. I don't remember him looking like that in the scenes with Queen Sonorie, especially with red eyes, and I thought our whole discussion here about Vampire was learning about red folk for the first time.
