Added 2018-11-28 04:55:08 +0000 UTCI've thought about two-toe culture and logistics a lot but tried to keep myself from going overboard now that we're finally properly amongst them. Their primary diet is beetles (which scamper around like chickens in human villages) and different mushrooms, but they also keep giant rodents for their skin, their poop (for growing mushrooms) and their meat. The rodents eat fungus, lichen, and giant earthworms that the two-toes breed in enormous wooden tubs full of dirt and rotting vegetation.
Two-toes once kept tortoises and they were sacred to them, but there are very few left in the world. They still live in their shells which they believe protect them from demons in the night (what humans know as roving unfriendly senet beasts, particularly efheby).
