He may have made up his mind right here on just what to do with that secret door. Maybe this relationship isn't worth salvaging if Mistress Lori would so quickly damn every two-toe in the shrine for the actions of a few.
This is one of those frustrating situations where you're certain the issues could be resolved if the idiots would just all *talk* to each other. But Lori is already on edge looking after the Queen's business and everyone's scared of the storm and Duane. No one is going to take a risk. Not now. It's going to be cynical presumptions and extreme reactions from all parties until the bitter end.
Anyway, we won't see Sette again until next chapter. Only a few scenes left, but they are beefy!

You gotta admit the kid does need to learn some lessons about how to be honest with her friends! Let's hope she grows as a person after this, and doesn't just decide she doesn't need any friends then, like her da.

2020-11-15 04:13:48 +0000 UTCThis is hitting me too hard. Sette did nothing wrong! I mean, logically I know exactly what she did wrong, and it's a doozy, but that's not how I feel. I guess I can express it without saying something false by saying Sette needs a hug real bad. Preferably from Sara. But hell, even a hug from Jivi might be enough to make difference here.
