Duane's terrible line about the children dying shifts immediately - to my ear - into propaganda speech. It's a rote line and he's repeating it. Do you think he actually believes it? Or is this the sort of thing he's been telling himself ever since he watched all those young people die during the Foi-Hellick Affair? Where's the crime? Anything unfortunate that happens to these shrine girls - where's the crime?
