IN THIS MOVIE
After an ignoble landing in Ratropolis, a pampered rodent (Hugh Jackman) enlists the help of a sewer scavenger (Kate Winslet) in finding his way back to his posh London flat. Getting home is not the only problem, however; a rodent-hating toad (Ian McKellen) wants his notorious cousin, Le Frog (Jean Reno), to exterminate the pair.

149 BUDGET. Made 178million at the box office, half of that goes to theaters and half to the studio, and thats without marketing costs which is 30-50% of the movie. so a movie often needs to make 2x its budget to break even. prob needed to make 250-300mil minimum, but barely made more than its budget so its pretty bad

2023-08-02 17:13:48 +0000 UTCIt's those kind of films that you thought that they were a fever dream from your childhood [at least i thought until i saw you post this reaction xD]. BTW Tim, if you really like the stop motion animation style, then i can recommend to you 3 great films: "Kubo and the Two Strings" [which is from the creators of "Coraline" and "Paranorman"], "Wallace and Gromit: curse of the were rabbit" and another classic one that is a bit underrated i believe but i liked it as a kid, "Chicken Run"
