The Path

When I first began On Fire Fit my theme verse was (and still is) to love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength and to love my neighbor as myself. Luke 10:27

Little did I know all the nuances that this would lead me to.

When I still have pain in my jaw, do I love Him with all my strength? When people reject me, do I still love my neighbor as myself?

We all go through things in life that challenge us. It is easy to run to people or things for solutions. But so many times these either distract or mislead us. The Lord gives us good godly support in the form of people but sometimes the only thing we know is what He says to us in the Secret Place. No one knows what that is.

As I continue to pursue God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength and learn to love my neighbors as myself, it seems fitting that my theme verse for this year is:

So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us. Hebrews 12:1 TPT

I may not know what the solutions are, but I know the One who made the path that is already marked out for me. And I will seek Him with all of me.
