Rock of Strength

Oh, how much I have discovered about hidden snares and secret traps! Thankfully, the Lord sees all and is so gentle in guiding and leading me despite those. I notice that any time I feel “peril” …if I remind myself, even out loud, that He is my fortress, my stronghold, and that He will deliver me, I feel instantly better.
Why does it take 9 (or more!) times for me to get this into me? Because they are “hidden snares” and “secret traps” and sometimes I don’t see that. When I do, the lightbulb goes on and I see what’s up.
Oh, how glad I am that HE is the rock of strength for me!
